Miller-Tydings Act, 1937

Miller-Tydings Act, 1937
Passed after the National Recovery Administration was been declared unconstitutional, the Miller- Tydings Act legalized price-maintenance agreements between manufacturers and retailers as a way of curbing competition and stabilizing prices where state fair trade laws existed. In 1951, the Supreme Court declared all such state laws unconstitutional.
